The Treasury says Caldric Randall will take over the role of the government’s Financial Controller role when Clive McGreal steps down at the end of April.
Mr Randall has been chief internal auditor with the Manx government for the past seven years.
Chief Financial Officer Malcolm Couch says Mr Randall’s experience at senior levels within the government will stand him in good stead.
And he says the handover process will start immediately to make sure the transition runs smoothly.
