Members of the House of Keys will be asked to elect four people to the upper chamber today.

The candidates for vacant seats on the Legislative Council are outgoing MLC Phil Braidwood, MHKs David Cretney, David Anderson and Bill Henderson, and lawyers Paul Beckett and Christopher Kinley.

Each candidate needs a minimum of 13 MHK votes.
