Woman rescued from harbour

by isleofman.com 16th March 2015

Police are trying to find out how a woman ended up in the water at Douglas marina.

The emergency services were called to the scene at 1.40am yesterday (Sunday) and rescued the woman from the water and into a boat. She was taken to Noble's Hospital.

Inspector Derek Flint said: 'A well co-ordinated rescue meant this woman was transferred to hospital at the earliest opportunity. We are now trying to establish how she ended up in the water, and would be pleased to speak to anyone who might have been in the area at the time.'
