Old Boys too strong for Laxey

In the Canada Life Premier League on Saturday, doubles from Robbie Ward and Darren Hudgeon fired third placed Old Boys to a convincing 4-0 home success against Laxey.
Rushen ended the impressive winning run of Union Mills with a 5-1 win at Garey Mooar.
Furo Davies, Mark Potts, Danny Pownall, Michael Baker and Ryan Crawley got the goals as the southerners continued their improved end of season form.
Two sides comfortable in mid table met at Ballafletcher and Corinthians edged out Ramsey 2-1, thanks to an own goal and the prolific Danny Oram.
John Roberts netted for Ramsey.
Michael Stringer, Steven Glover and Richard Wynn grabbed the goals as St John’s won 3-0 at newly relegated Gymns.
