Marown survive scare to extend lead

Marown overcame a major scare to cement their place as JCK Division Two favourites on Saturday.
Joey Rothwell and Kevin Druggan, from the penalty spot, kept their cool to fire them to a 2-1 win at Braddan– a result which keeps them top of the table.
Lee Currer replied for the battling home side.
The deadly duo of Andy Glover and Dean Kinley both hit two as in-form Malew won 4-1 at Onchan, for whom James Kerruish scored.
Castletown and Douglas Royal shared six goals in an exciting contest at the Stadium.
Ian Buckley, Richard McCann and Stuart Foley scored for the visitors but they had to settle for a point after Paddy Cooper, Liam Crawley and Lee Davenport were on target.
