Unemployment during February was at its lowest for four years, according to figures released today by the government.
The jobless total stood at 930 at the end of February, a drop of 43 on the previous month, and a decrease of 216 people compared to February 2014.
The unemployment rate now stands at 2.1 per cent, a fall of 0.1 per cent from the previous month. Nearly half of those out of work are aged under 30. There are 447 vacancies at the Job Centre.
