Get skipping for children's hospice

by isleofman.com 13th March 2015

Hospice Isle of Man’s Children’s Hospice, Rebecca House, has launched its first ever Skip-a-thon to take place on Wednesday 13th May during this year’s Children’s Hospice Week.

We’re asking anyone who wishes to join us to skip for sponsorship to raise much needed funds for Rebecca House to support the 31 local children and their families who currently use the services.

For school children those in reception and year one will be encouraged to skip for 5 minutes with or without a rope to earn their sponsorship.  Children in years 2, 3, 4 will be encouraged to skip for 10 minutes with or without a rope and children in years 5 and 6 for 10 minutes with a rope. For anyone above this age please feel free to set your own challenging time limit.
We have exciting new skipping ropes available to purchase from Hospice Isle of Man complete with fun Easter designs.

Please contact fundraising on 647434 or email fundraising@hospice.org.im to get a sponsor form.

Pictured are the children from Peel Clothworkers year 3 and 4 – left to right Ciaran, Jenifer, Grace, Savanah-Lee and Thomas with Mary Doyle from Hospice getting in the skipping mood.
