BridsonHalsall Advocates have announced that Deborah Myerscough has been called to the Manx Bar and is practising as a Manx Advocate with their Athol St based practice.
Deborah started her legal career in England in 2000 where she specialised in criminal litigation but then moved to the Isle of Man and began working in company law. She subsequently qualified as a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2005 before undertaking and passing the Legal Practice Course and then commencing articles passing her Bar exams at their first sitting. She now specialises in civil and criminal litigation including matrimonial and family law, personal injury, employment and advises on wills and probate. Deborah’s principal, Richard Halsall, commented “Deborah has a wealth of experience in the law and her determination is evidenced by her taking the long and challenging route to qualification as a Manx Advocate by initially qualifying as a Legal Executive. She has already built a strong practice and will be an asset to the Manx Bar”.
