New consultant for Cains’ London office

Cains, the Isle of Man law and professional services group, has announced the appointment of Daniel Mackelden as a consultant to the firm in its London office.

Daniel has 20 years’ legal and fiduciary experience.  He originally trained at Linklaters and his career postings have included Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney and the Caribbean. He previously worked for Cains between 2005 and 2010 and at that time was responsible for the establishment of the London office. During this period he was significantly involved with capital markets work, in particular, AIM but also advised on a wide range of general finance, banking, fund and corporate work. His experience post 2010 has included senior management positions with two international professional service firms with a wide range of institutional, corporate and UHNW clients.

Daniel is currently retained by the group for specific client assignments and is also involved with Deal Origination and CRM initiatives in London and overseas.

Daniel commented: “I am delighted to be working once again with Cains. The group continues to grow year on year and I look forward to engaging with our clients and wider professional network in London and elsewhere.”
