Gaming industry contributes over half a million to addiction charities

More than half a million pounds has been raised by the Island's gaming industry to help people tackle their gambling addictions.
Gambling Supervision Commission CEO Steve Brennan revealed the figure while giving evidence to the Economic Policy Review Committee this afternoon.
Isle of Man-based operators have made contributions worth ?550,000 since the fund was started in 2009.
