Burglary update, as police issue warning about social media posts

by isleofman.com 9th March 2015
Police say there have been no burglaries reported to them since Thursday last week.
They've issued a further update, saying there have been 47 reported break-ins since the start of January, with a further nine attempts made.
Officers are also aware of CCTV footage from Manor Park, which has been posted on social media and linked to the burglaries.
They say inquiries are ongoing, but are satisfied the footage has no link whatsoever to the crimes.
The police are warning that posting such images or comments online can have damaging consequences for the individuals concerned and the ongoing investigation.
