Corlett dominates at Arrasey

by isleofman.com 9th March 2015
Nick Corlett was in dominant form at Arrasey Plantation on Sunday – round six of the Manx Mountain Bike Club National Cross Country series.
He took immediate command and went onto win the six lap expert race unchallenged, his lead never in doubt against a chasing Daniel Curtis and Elliot Baxter in second and third respectively.
Kate Priest rode a fine race as the only competitor in the expert women’s class.
In the sports category, Peel footballer Lee Gale made easy work of the course, clocking up some impressive lap times and never being challenged by runner-up Tom Hughes.
There was close competition in the novice class with Toby Flack finishing ahead of Stuart Mason and Rob Taylor.
Kirriee Quayle – the only entry in the novice women class – was just behind, while Joe Haddock won the men’s equivalent from Jamie Dudley and Liam Mazzone.
