Regeneration schemes questioned

by isleofman.com 9th March 2015

The value of the island-wide regeneration project will be raised in Tynwald this month.

Renewal of paving and other works in towns and villages is ongoing. But Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen is calling for Treasury to publish a business case showing how each particular project is financially beneficial and on a sustainable basis.

Mr Cregeen says this should be carried out before any further spending from the town and village regeneration fund is agreed, and is calling on fellow members of Tynwald to support his move.
