Landmark day for hospital's new neonatal unit

by isleofman.com 9th March 2015
A landmark is reached today in a major project to improve the care of critically ill babies in the Island.
A new neonatal intensive care unit will be formally handed over by contractors to the Department of Health this afternoon (Monday).
The facility at Noble's Hospital will offer improved care for vulnerable new-borns, in line with the latest British and European standards.
Building work on the ?4 million project passed a milestone last June, when the building was topped-out by Health minister Howard Quayle.
Also on site was consultant in neonatal medicine Dr Prakash Thiagarajan.Clip 1
