The line–up includes World champions Scott Mitchell and Lisa Ashton. As well as former world champions Martin "Wolfie" Adams, , Ted "The Count" Hankey, nine times world champ Trina Gulliver, world number one Deta Hedman and three times world champ Anastasia Dobromyslova. The event is truly international with players from the Netherlands, Russia, England, Scotland, Wales, Switzerland, and the Channel Islands.
Past World Champion, Andy "The Viking" Fordham, confirmed on this morning’s BBC Radio 2 Chris Evans Breakfast Show that he would be flying to the Island to compete this year’s Festival.
The organisers are pleased to welcome the Word Disabled Darts Association to the Festival for the very first time.
The event is hosted at the Villa Marina 5-8th March and comes to a climax with the finals on the Royal Hall stage on Sunday afternoon at approximately 2.45pm. The event is free of charge to spectators. All are welcome to come and soak up the excitement we are used to seeing at the World Championships on BBC TV from the Lakeside Centre.
