Anderson keen to continue in Manx politics

A former health minister who bore the brunt of fierce criticism while serving in the heart of government says it hasn't put him off seeking a new political role on the Island.
Glenfaba MHK David Anderson has put his name forward for one of four seats due to become vacant on the Legislative Council.
Alec Downie, Dudley Butt and Alan Crowe are all stepping away from front line politics, though Phillip Braidwood will seek to retain his seat in the Manx parliament's upper house.
Mr Anderson admits he experienced a rough ride as health minister - but says that's just life in politics.
He's confident he still has a role to play and useful experience to draw on:
