Police urge public to not use social media to report incidents

by isleofman.com 3rd March 2015
The Police have asked the public not to report incidents via Facebook, Twitter or emails.

These mediums are not permanently monitored and they do not want to miss something urgent or that needs attention quickly.

If an incident or crime is taking place at that time or has just taken place and needs an immediate response by the Police please dial 999.

If you wish to report a crime or incident that took place sometime ago please dial 631212.  Please be patient with this, as on occasions (due to volume of calls etc), this may take a short time to be answered.
