Appleby’s Isle of Man office will be represented at MIPIM, the world’s leading property market conference.
Held in Cannes, France, from 10-13 March, MIPIM, brings together influential figures from across all international property sectors, including commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, sport, logistics and industrial.
It is an opportunity to view ambitious development projects, connect investors and investment opportunities, meet future and existing clients and learn about the latest changes in the world’s property markets. Thousands of industry representatives from more than 90 countries will attend, including property owners, investors, tenants, service providers and members of the media.
Appleby’s Isle of Man office will be represented by Sandra Georgeson, Client Director in the Fiduciary & Administration department, and Kyle Sutherland, Counsel in the Corporate department, who will be providing both Isle of Man and British Virgin Islands legal, fiduciary and administration advice to new and existing clients. They will also be joined by James Gaudin, Partner in the Corporate department of the international law firm’s Jersey office to cater for the international property audience.
Sandra said: ‘The international property industry is one of the most resilient and continues to grow as new developments are taken forward and investors look for opportunities. MIPIM will be a very busy exhibition, as construction firms, architects and property owners make connections with potential tenants, investors and service providers.
‘It is an opportunity for us to catch up with Appleby’s clients in the property world, discover what the industry’s current trends, challenges and opportunities are and explain what we, as one of the world's largest providers of offshore legal, fiduciary and administration services, can provide.’
Kyle added: ‘MIPIM is attended by industry representatives from all over the globe, and many of the largest property deals involve firms from many different countries. It is a truly international market, which makes involvement for Appleby significant. The exhibition is an opportunity to not only meet existing clients face-to-face, but also reinforce the benefits of working with Appleby.’
