Commissioner wants waste charge increases to stop

An Onchan Commissioner is to call for the last two planned increases of charges at the energy from waste plant to be scrapped.
The increments, due in April 2017 and April 2018, will take the charge for domestic waste up to just over ?161 per tonne.
Rob Callister has been researching the deal which was agreed to fund the plant, and will present his findings at the local authority's meeting tonight:Clip 1
