One-day Belgian race win for Cavendish

by isleofman.com 2nd March 2015
Mark Cavendish has notched up another victory, to continue his strong start to the new season
He won the one-day Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne race in Belgium yesterday, to add to the victories he's chalked up in Argentina and Dubai.
That's six wins so far for Cav in 2015.
It's the second time the Manxman has won the race, having also done so in 2012 when riding for Team Sky.
He's the only British rider to have won Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.
Cavendish beat Katusha's Norwegian rider Alexander Kristoff and Italy's Elia Viviani of Team Sky in the race for the line yeaterday.
Speaking afterwards, he said, "I've been going good all year and the team looked after me. They were incredible."
