Cook for Moldova?

by isleofman.com 27th February 2015
Top-ranked Isle of Man taekwondo fighter Aaron Cook is considering a change of nationality to ensure he can compete at the next Olympics.
He was controversially overlooked by Team GB for the London 2012 Games despite officially being the best in the world at the time.
Cook started fighting under the Manx banner since 2013 but is still eligible for Great Britain.
British Taekwondo has yet to formalise a Rio selection policy.
Cook attained Moldovan citizenship at the end of last year - a move which has been approved by the World Taekwondo Federation.
The British Olympic Association says it's aware of a written request from Cook, who's thinking about switching allegiances to Moldova to be sure of a place at the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.
