PokerStars says an event in Malta next month looks set to be its largest European Poker Tour event ever held.
The Malta Poker Festival runs from March 17 to 28 at the casino in Portomaso, and will see a record number of tournaments being held.
The event has teamed up with VisitMalta, the island’s official tourism board, to showcase the Mediterranean destination.
Michael Holmberg, General Manager of PokerStars Europe, says the company’s been working behind the scenes for months to make the event happen.
