Burglars strike six times this week

by isleofman.com 26th February 2015
Police say they suspect burglars who carried out almost 40 thefts in January have struck again.

After reports of two breakins in Ballatesson Meadow in Peel earlier this week, officers say they’re now investigating burglaries in Tynwald Road and Rheast Lane in Peel.

They’re connecting those incidents to breakins in Lag Birragh Drive in Onchan and one in Vicarage Park in Braddan.

All of the burglaries have taken place since Monday, leading officers to believe the same people are responsible.

Inspector Derek Flint says the public needs to be vigilant and contact officers about any suspicious activity they may see.

If you have any information you can contact police on 631212 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
