52 to get Isle of Man Sport Aid

by isleofman.com 26th February 2015
52 individuals and cycling's Regional School of Racing are to receive support through Isle of Man Sport Aid scholarships over the next year.
The scheme helps financially with support for travel and equipment costs as well as providing access to the Isle of Man Sport Institute.
Sport Aid has helped the Island's sports stars over the past 20 years - some have gone on to win medals at World Championships and Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
Cycling superstar Mark Cavendish was a recipient of Sport Aid between 2000 and 2005 and is now one of the principal sponsors.
Receiving Cavendish Scholarships this time are swimmers Alex Bregazzi and Brody Hewison, golfer Ana Dawson and cycling's Regional School of Racing.
