Pictured is Tim Groves, Residential Director at Black Grace Cowley, presenting a cheque for ?1,610.00 to Anna McCanney of the Alzheimer’s Society Isle of Man (left), Mary Doyle of Hospice Rebecca House, and Anne Dowds and Karen Wagstaffe of the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.

Black Grace Cowley’s donation represents just the first quarter’s contribution in the estate agency’s ongoing ’20 Reasons Campaign’, which was introduced in October 2014 and aims to raise a total of ?20,000 for local charities over the next three years. As part of the campaign, Black Grace Cowley will pledge ?100 from the proceeds of every house sold to one of three local charities of the client’s choosing, which will be paid every financial quarter.

Commenting on the donation, Tim Groves said: “It’s just a few months since Black Grace Cowley launched our 20 Reasons campaign and we’re already seeing some excellent results. When we first launched the campaign we were, of course, very pleased to do our bit, but what’s more pleasing to see is the excitement of our customers as they make their donation. This is the first of many and we can’t wait to see the results of the next three years.”

A total of ?1,610 constitutes a donation of ?670.00 to Alzheimer’s Society Isle of Man, ?470.00 to Rebecca House and ?470.00 to the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group. For more information, visit http://www.blackgracecowley.com/move/issue7/files/8.html.
