Douglas prom TT cleanup cost clarified

A member of the Department of Economic Development has moved to clarify the cost of cleaning up Douglas promenade at TT.

It was understood Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly had said ?200,000 was spent on doing it, which was one of the reasons the department had again decided to not have any fast food outlets on the prom for the fortnight.

Head of Motorsport Trevor Hussey told Talking Heads this lunchtime that was not the case, and the cleaning only made up around ?16,000 - ?17,000.
