Guy Martin has been telling Manx Radio that his deal to ride for Smiths Racing Team at the T.T. came about from a phone call where he enquired about buying a Triumph.
On Monday it was announced that Martin and Australian Dave Johnson will ride for the Gloucester-based outfit in the two Supersport races on 675cc Triumph Daytonas.
Guy says he is planning a few jobs with Triumph later this year so rang up Smiths to find out what the best bike would be and how much it would cost:-
