No food court saves ?200k, says minister

by isleofman.com 25th February 2015
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says scrapping a temporary TT food court on Douglas Promenade saves ?200,000 a year in cleanup costs.

Yesterday in the House of Keys he faced questions from North Douglas MHK John Houghton about the lack of seafront pitches for traders during the TT festival.

Mr Skelly said after stalls were effectively banned last year, local eateries had picked up more trade.

And he says he hopes the same will happen this year:Clip 1
