Southern 100 looks forward to Diamond Jubilee

by isleofman.com 21st February 2015
The Southern 100 press launch took place at the Morton Hall in Castletown last night, in what is a landmark year for the club.
It will celebrate its Diamond Jubilee in July.
Past and present champions were in attendance, along with sponsors, to mark the occasion, and look forward to this year's event.
Competitors from that first Southern 100 race meeting in 1955, George Costain and Alan 'Kipper' Killip spoke to the host for the evening, Manx Radio's Tim Glover.
The latter reminisced about the rather strange 'did not finish' in that year's Junior race:Clip 1
