More money for carers welcome - but not cure-all says charity

An increase in carer allowances is the tip of the iceberg according to Crossroads Care.
The amount given to Island carers has soared in the new budget, going from ?61.35 to ?112.10 per week.
The rise is almost 82 per cent.
Crossroads Care Chief Executive Jacky Bettridge says the money is just one part of a bigger picture:
