Beecroft blames government for motion fiasco

by isleofman.com 19th February 2015
South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft says the government forced her into a corner over a motion to scrap the Island’s investment in the Media Development Fund.

During the debate, it emerged the Isle of Man could have faced legal action if it backed out of a contract to invest in the film industry.
Mrs Beecroft says information about the specifics of the contract had never been discussed before, leaving her in an impossible position:Clip 1
