New build appeal drives off plan sales

by isleofman.com 19th February 2015
Building work on a new housing development in south Ramsey will have taken 12 months from start to finish, when contractors leave the site in April.
Six of 14 detatched 4 and 5 bedroom houses in Hartford Homes' Briarville Gardens development are now occupied, with two thirds having been bought off-plan.
Director James Greenhalgh said: “With the majority of properties sold before the site is complete, it shows there really is a persistent appetite for new-build, modern homes in the Isle of Man."
He went on: "Our developments Island-wide are continuing to sell off plan, often before we’ve laid even a single brick.”
Site manager Chris Corkill has praised a 'dedicated' construction team and thanked surrounding Ramsey residents for their co-operation during disruption caused by the building work.
