Finance sector hopes for end to use of external reserves to fund public spending

The Island's financial services sector is hoping Mr Teare's budget will confirm an end to the use of external reserves to fund public spending.
Almost ?90 million has been required over four years to bridge the gap in public finances after the VAT revenue losses.
Treasury predicted no further draw-down would be needed in the year ahead.
