Next ICSA Event "Egaming now and in the future"

Peter Greenhill, CEO, e-Gaming Development at Isle of Man Government’s Department of Economic Development and Steve Brennan, CEO, Gambling Supervision Commission, will explore “Egaming now and in the future” for the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) Isle of Man branch, at an event on 24th February 2015 at the Claremont Hotel, Douglas.

Peter Greenhill is responsible for promoting the Isle of Man as a leading centre for e-Gaming by devising, developing and implementing new initiatives aimed at encouraging inward investment and the development and growth of existing businesses. He moved to the Isle of Man in July 2013. Following a long and successful career in technology, especially in Banking and Banking Systems with Credit Lyonnais, GE Information Services and Unisys, Peter moved into the gaming industry. He has now had 20 years’ gaming experience having held executive management positions at Cyberview Technology, Betex, TCS John Huxley and Essnet.

Steve Brennan is the Chief Executive of the Gambling Supervision Commission. The Gambling Supervision Commission was initially established in 1962 that consists of an independent panel headed by a Chairman and four members. Having joined the Commission in January 2008, Steve’s primary responsibility is for the development and maintenance of the regulatory framework to licence and supervise all forms of gambling in the Island.
 
Prior to joining the Commission Steve held a number of senior positions within the Isle of Man Government, primarily the Income Tax Division of Treasury where he gained experience in a wide range of managerial and both tax and IT technical roles.

The event starts at 6pm. Admission is free to members. Places for non-members (subject to availability) are ?10 each.
