Did you witness an incident on Hillside Avenue last Wednesday evening?

Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision.
 
At around 10pm on Wednesday 11th February 2015 on Hillside Avenue, Douglas a man was crossing the road when he was struck by a vehicle travelling along the road. This vehicle did not stop and left the area travelling toward the old Nobles Hospital building. The man received injuries to his leg and hand which are thankfully not serious.
 
Constable 250 Dave Thommeny said:

“Whoever is responsible for this will have known they had hit something and the consequences could have been fatal for the pedestrian concerned. I am keen to locate the driver of the vehicle and urge anyone who has any information regarding this matter to contact me”.
