More twists in promotion race

by isleofman.com 14th February 2015
Ramsey Youth Centre’s promotion chase stuttered again as they were held at home by Braddan on Saturday.

Leaders Douglas Athletic also had their progress checked as they drew 2-2 at Pulrose, who played most of the match with 10 men.

It means the race for JCK Division Two is more wide open than ever.

Marown are possibly favourites after a 4-0 home success over Castletown, while Colby have high hopes of their own after a goal in each half saw off Onchan 2-0.

Elsewhere, Douglas Royal hit seven past new boys Governors Athletic without reply, while Andy Glover scored all four goals as Malew ran out 4-1 winners over Douglas and District.
