The Manx community is to benefit from ?3million of National Lottery money.
The Manx Lottery Trust has secured the funding to deliver a grant programme over five years. Details and how to apply will be announced at the end of this month.
Chairman of the Manx Lottery Trust, Malcolm Kelly (pictured) said: 'This new tranche of funding represents a significant increase of National Lottery funding available to meet an increased need and bring about real improvements to the Island community and to the lives of those most in need.
'It will allow the Trust to build on the successful delivery of the current General Awards Programme launched in 2010 and jointly funded between Big Lottery Fund and Isle of Man Treasury. This programme has assisted 90 projects and reached over 80,000 beneficiaries throughout the whole Island.'
