WIMBLEDON BALLOT - FINAL reminder – midnight this Saturday 14th February is the very last day for OPTING IN to the club’s ballot. If you are not on the official LTA list we cannot accept an application for tickets.  The date for the club’s public ballot will be as soon as practicable after we receive, from the LTA,  information on the club’s allocation

Tickets are now available for Quiz Night on Friday 6 March. Enter a team or join someone else’s team. Tickets ?5 and ?3 for juniors – suppers will be delivered from Port Jack Chippy – fish & chips  ?6 and sausage & chips ?4. Please let Jackie Russell or Pat Sharp know how many tickets you require and which suppers by 3 March

The club’s winter league teams have started the campaign with wins the A team won 8-0 at Ramsey and the B team beat Douglas C at home 7-1 and Douglas D team at Kensington Road 6-2. If any one is interested in playing in either team please let Jackie Russell know – email jackierussell@manx.net or me albanytennispr@manx.net. At the moment several players are off Island and fulfilling a fixture is not always easy.

Reminder to all juniors your coaching programme re-starts from next Monday 16th February with all programmes taking place at their usual times. If you haven’t paid your squad fees yet please do so next week.

At the moment the club has a quantity of used tennis balls  for sale at ?5 for a bag of 20. These are suitable for dogs and children and are obtainable by contacting 861497.

We will shortly be sending every member a copy of the club’s  and IOMLTA events calendar so that we can all plan holidays without missing the annual competitions, Island Games and LTA inter-county events.

If anyone is considering hiring the lounge for meetings or parties please contact Kirsten Hall after 17 February on kirsten.altc@gmail.com or ring me 861497 mob. 498597.  Junior birthday parties can include a one hour tennis session.
