Sefton wedding fair attracts record numbers

by isleofman.com 11th February 2015

The Sefton Hotel and couples looking to plan their Big Day proved to be the perfect union after visitor figures for the hotel’s wedding fair, held on Sunday February 1st, showed a 22 per cent increase over the 2014 event.

The magnificent surroundings of the hotel’s Atrium Water Garden and adjoining Garden Room provided a memorable location for the event which showcased some of the Island’s finest specialist wedding services and products.

Claire Radcliffe from Boxed Off said: ‘For us, the day was a great success. This is our fourth year exhibiting at The Sefton Hotel’s wedding fair and the event has gone from strength to strength with this year being the busiest one ever. The fabulous setting of the Atrium served as the perfect backdrop for us to promote our product to a new and wider audience. Visitors to our stand were genuinely keen to learn more about what we could offer to make their day special and we are delighted that we’ve already been able to convert some of those inquiries into firm orders.’

The Sefton Group’s marketing manager Nicola Wilkinson said: ‘Last year’s event was a tremendous success but this year’s wedding fair surpassed all expectations. The encouraging number of visitors combined with the positive feedback we’ve received demonstrate that even in these challenging economic times there will always be demand for a high quality, well organised showcase event and we were delighted with the response.’
