Pictured are some of the Oskar’s Dreams Committee in Jade’s Place at Hospice. The team wanted to mark the occasion of continuous funding to Rebecca House by noting that the incredible amount of ?278,000 that had been donated through Oskar’s Dreams to support the incredible work carried out by the children’s hospice.
Chief Executive of the Hospice, Margaret Simpson said:
“Oskar’s Dreams was set up in December 2006 and since then have been the most amazing supporters of Rebecca House. Our close bond with this charity is evidenced by the tailored plan of donations over the 8 years since its inception. We meet on a regular basis to ensure that every donation given to Oskar’s Dreams is used by the team at Rebecca House in a financially prudent manner. The team have definitely added a huge amount of colour to our children’s hospice. We are pictured today in Jade’s Place which is a lasting legacy to a young lady called Jade Quirk who sadly died in March 2013.”
She went on to add:
“I cannot thank Oskar’s Dreams enough for their unfailing support of Rebecca House. I know this sentiment is echoed by everyone involved with the children’s hospice."
Jade’s Place is a room at Hospice where children and young adults can spend time relaxing.
