New jobs for Mount Murray staff

by isleofman.com 11th February 2015

A number of those who lost their jobs in the closure earlier this month of the Mount Murray hotel complex have already found work, according to the Chamber of Commerce.

Chief executive Jane Dellar said: 'News of the closure came as a great shock to everyone affected by it. But the response from our member firms has been remarkable. This demonstrates the Chamber’s overall strength and commitment to working together for a common cause.

'While the impact of the closure of such an important hotel and leisure complex cannot be underestimated, the response to it has shown the resilience and determination within the tourism sector in general.'
