Jobs boost for former Mount Murray staff

by isleofman.com 10th February 2015
Some of the Mount Murray staff who've lost their jobs thanks to the hotel's closure have been found new positions.
The news comes from the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce, which says its members rallied round to provide support and practical help to the employees.
Sue Hammond, Director at Connect2HR, has been working with the company to manage the redundancy process.
She says they have received an overwhelming response from chamber members and the Island’s business community, who have provided support and information regarding current job opportunities.
Connect2HR has held an open day with the help of local agencies and government departments to help staff.
If employers are looking to recruit staff they are asked to contact Connect2HR.
