4G approaches for Sure mobile users

by isleofman.com 9th February 2015
Apple iPhone users who have had the latest iOS8 update will be able to access Sure’s new 4G network as soon as it goes live in their area.
Sure says due to network testing requirements by some manufacturers it was expected customers using iPhones would experience a delay in accessing the new network.
However, it is now clear Apple’s latest iOS update allows 4G access without the need for network approval from the manufacturer.
Samsung handset users will also be able to access the new network sooner than anticipated, as the manufacturer’s approval process has been completed ahead of schedule.
People will need to wait for software updates to their phones that Samsung will release.
Sure expects these to include it being an approved 4G network from March onwards.
