There was a full house for a new year tax planning seminar aimed at Manx residents and their advisers, hosted by wealth management firms Equiom and Cannacord Genuity.
January's event at the Palace Hotel in Douglas saw 140 delegates hear a panel of speakers offer their investment strategy expertise and an overview of financial markets.
The seminar was chaired by Equiom's Philip Dearden, with specialist sessions on tax planning for Island residents, domicile issues, new UK residence rules and the value of structured estate planning.
Topics generated much debate among the audience who were invited to take part in a question and answer session with the panel.
