Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish finished second behind Team Sky sprinter Elia Viviani on stage two of the Dubai Tour.
The Italian went early and the Manx Missile couldn't get back on terms in another bunch finish.
The end of the stage was in front of the spectacular Palm Island Hotel.
Cavendish retains his lead in the overall standings with a 2 second advantage over Viviani.
