Peel move joint top

by isleofman.com 2nd February 2015
Peel’s relentless form in the Warehouse Fitness Limited league continued on Sunday.
They moved joint top of the table alongside Corinthians and champions Douglas Royal following an exciting 5-3 victory over Gymns at Douglas Road.
The westerners ran riot to open up a 3-0 lead at the break and then resisted a spirited second half fightback from the Tromode outfit.
Maxine Smalley was the star of the show with four goals and Sarah Wignell grabbed the other.
Nicki Naden, Alannah Hall and Eleanor Gawne replied for Gymns.
The remaining league fixture - Colby v DHSOB - was postponed as the southerners couldn’t field a team.
