The battle at the top of Womens NC North 1/2 West was settled at Ballafletcher with league leaders Kendal Wasps beating Vagabonds 19-7.
The game was in the balance at half-time and tied at 7-7 after a Vagas try from Fran Hunt, converted by Sammie McDonald, was cancelled out by a Kendal score from rising starlet Nessa Temple.
The second half was the Nessa Temple show as the Cumbria county cap ran in two more.
Western Vikings made it two wins from two in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Bowl when they beat Emerging Nomads 31-26 at QEII.
Vikings led 19-7 at half-time with two tries from skipper Kev Mellor, one from Ryan Burke and two conversions from Sam Peel.
In the second half, Mellor completed his hat-trick and Matt Wozniak added a rare try with Peel kicking another conversion.
Orry Watterson, John Walster, James Parker and Gerard Landels all picked up tries for Nomads with Patrick O’Brien kicking three conversions.
