Sure 4G network on the way

Island telco Sure says it’s turning on its 4G mobile network gradually over the next month and hopes to have it up and running by the end of February.
Engineers started work in Ramsey this week, improving the 2G and 3G networks at the same time as installing the new high-speed service.
It’s hoped Douglas, the last place to be switched over, will be finished by the end of February with just minor tweaks to the network afterwards.
But Sarah Jarvis, Sure’s marketing manager, says some people may still have to wait a bit longer as handset manufacturers approve the network for use:
