Series of Seminars to help with your savings & investments

by isleofman.com 28th January 2015
Chase Wealth Solutions in association with Prudential are pleased to announce a series of joint seminars with the title – “How to obtain better returns on your savings and investments”.

The Seminars will be held at 2.00pm & 6.00pm on the 9th & 10th February in Douglas and the venue will be confirmed on reservation.  To reserve a place they are asking those interested in attending to contact Chase Wealth Solutions on 640350 or e-mail solutions@chasewealth.im.

The seminars are open to the public, are free of charge and completely without obligation (with an additional seminar for professional intermediaries on Tuesday at 9.00am).  Places are limited given the very topical nature of the presentations, reflecting the continuing low interest rate environment.  They would therefore encourage hopeful attendees to book early to avoid disappointment.  The seminars are expected to run for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, which will include time for questions and discussion and refreshments will be served.

The subject of “How to obtain better returns on your savings and investments”  is particularly relevant in the current economic environment as people continue to struggle to find decent returns on their savings. With banks and building societies providing low deposit interest rates they are having to look elsewhere to achieve growth on their clients money.  An alternative investment to consider, which they have provided to many of their clients, is the PruFund* offering which is provided by Prudential.  The PruFund Cautious fund has produced a gross compounded annual return of 8.1% and the PruFund Growth fund has produced 9.3% (4 years October 31 2010 to October 31 2014). Looking forward Prudential have published Gross Expected Growth rates of 6.7% and 7.2%, which although lower than rates achieved in the past 4 years are nevertheless far and away above banks deposit rates.

These seminars are being hosted in association with Prudential who will be providing an overview of how they manage investments in the PruFunds. Prudential are an international financial services group with significant operations in Asia, the US and the UK. They serve more than 23 million customers and have ?443 billion of assets under management*.  In the UK they are a leading life and pensions provider with approximately 7 million customers. They are listed on stock exchanges in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York. Prudential uses long-term thinking to create long-term value. Through their strong financial performance and international strategy, they create financial benefits for their shareholders and investors and deliver economic and social benefits for the communities in which they operate.
