Johnny Herbert has been replaced by Damon Hill OBE, as guest speaker at this Thursday's Specsavers sponsored Sporting & Dining Club event at the Palace Hotel & Casino.
Sadly, Johnny has had to undergo an unscheduled minor operation, which has prevented him from travelling to the Island.
Damon, the 1996 F1 world champion, is the only son of a world champion (Graham Hill), to become champion himself. Damon will speak of his time in F1 partnering Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna and dicing with Michael Schumacher to take the title. Everything else on the evening remains the same, and guests will have an opportunity to listen to, and meet Damon after dinner.
